Pork Belly Pizza

An Asian style twist to your pizza menu


  • 1 pizza base
  • 60g sugo sauce
  • handful of parsley, chopped
  • 120g Perfect Italiano Traditional Mozzarella Shredded 
  • 150g pork belly, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 10ml light soy sauce
  • 10ml hoisin sauce
  • 5ml mirin
  • olive oil
  • coriander leaves
  • 1 red radish, shaved
  • snow pea tendrils


  • Marinate diced pork belly with light soy, hoisin, minced garlic and mirin for a minimum of 30 minutes before using. Strain pork from marinade and discard excess marinade. 
  • Heat a heavy fry pan with olive oil and place pork belly pieces skin side down in the pan. Cook until golden brown and crispy, turn and repeat. 
  • Spread the sugo sauce over the pizza base.
  • Evenly top with chopped parsley and Perfect Italiano Traditional Mozzarella Shredded.
  • Top with pieces of pork belly then place in the oven and cook until the cheese has melted and base is crispy.
  • Garnish pizza with coriander leaves, snow pea tendrils and shaved radish once cooked.
