The Don

Seafood flavoured pizza recipe incorporating Sardines.


  • 2½ tbsp traditional tomato pizza sauce
  • 200g pizza dough, rolled and ready 
  • 90g Perfect Italiano Traditional Mozzarella Shredded
  • 80g fresh tomatoes, sliced
  • 60g marinated Fremantle sardines (use sardines that have been marinated in olive oil and herbs such as native lemon myrtle)
  • salt and cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges


  • Spread traditional tomato pizza sauce over base and top with Perfect Italiano Mozzarella. Place a layer of sliced tomato on the cheese. Squeeze the liquid from the sardines and place them at even intervals around the pizza.
  • When cooked, season with salt and cracked black pepper. Garnish with chopped chives and serve with lemon wedges.
